MD Immaculate Collection (Chemical Peels)
What is a Chemical Peel?
The Million-Dollar Immaculate Collection contains three superficial skin peels designed specifically for those with agening, dullness, pigmentation and acne. These peels are customisable and use medical grade ingredients to exfoliate the skin, stimulate cell turnover and promote a more radiant even-toned complexion.
U|nlike harsher chemical peels, they are formulated to be gentle yet effective, you will get immediate results without the downtime.
How do they work?
The chemical solution is applied to your skin and left on to work, gently exfoliating the outermost layers. Removing dead skin cells to reveal smoother, fresher skin underneath. Stimulating the skins natural regeneration process helping to improve texture and tone. By targeting the deeper layers of the skin to address concerns like fine lines, pigmentation and acne scarring.
Who will benefit from a Chemical Peel?
The range has 3 formulations tailored to your skin type and goals. During your consultation the best treatment along with the specific “power product” will be chosen.
This treatment is unsuitable for client who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Those with active skin infections, open wounds, or extreme sensitivity. Stop using strong topical products like retinoids, at least 1 week before your appointment.
What happens during the treatment?
Following a consultation to select the suitable peel, I will prepare your skin, cleanse, tone & use a pro-cept solution to sterilise the skin. If you have chosen to to have dermaplaning included, this will be done at this step. The chemical peel solution will be applied, here your may feel a mild tingling or warming sensation. This normally passes within a minute or so. The peel is neutralised and gently removed. A power product will then be layered onto your skin and gently massaged over using ice globes. Followed by a mask application. The skin will then be treated and protected with serum, moisturiser, and Sheild 50+. The entire treatment (with dermaplane) will usually take 60 minutes and recommended as a course every 2 weeks. (if dermaplaning 6+ weeks)
How many treatments should I have?
Initial Course 3-6 treatments every 2-4 weeks. Once results are achieved, maintenance peels can be done every 6-8 weeks.
What are the side effects?
Most side effects are mild and temporary, slight redness or flushing may occur and typically fades within a few hours to a day. Mild dryness and flaking as the skin renews itself.
